2024 Ninety Plus Cabernet Sauvignon, Mount Veeder AVA, Napa Valley – Mount Veeder is one of the coolest AVAs in Napa Valley, known for producing wines with pronounced aromatics and a stark freshness. Richly textured and beautifully balanced, this wine captures the essence of Mount Veeder’s distinctive terroir from a single grower in the region who sells their wine for $100/bottle! The Collector Series Lot 234 opens with layers of ripe blackberry and bramble, accented by clove and a subtle hint of rose petals, ending with tobacco and toasty herbs. $35.00

2022 Arnot-Roberts Syrah, California – This Syrah comes from some of the best Syrah vineyards in California. The backbone of it is the Rancho Arroyo Grande vineyard in the San Luis Obispo Coast appellation, which makes up just over half the blend. This cool, windy site is about 7 miles from the ocean, yielding beautiful, spicy fruit. The rest of the blend is composed of Syrah from Sonoma Coast sites. This wine is bold, rich, and explosive. It is well-balanced, with plenty of juicy dark cherry, plum, sage, menthol, and lavender that build into a dense, textured finish. Drink now through 2032. Vinous: 92 $38.00

2022 Colome Estate Malbec, Salta, Argentina – The opening notes of toasted herbs and spiced chocolate suggest a rich, dark profile, yet the core of this red shows pure raspberry and cherry flavors. A nice layer of minerally freshness underneath drives the finish around precise tannins. Matured for 15 months in both new and used barrique.  Drink now through 2034.  Wine Spectator: 91 $22.00

2023 “Festivo” Setubal, Portugal – The Festivo red wine is made from 90% Castelão and 10% Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. It entices with notes of red berries, cherries, vanilla, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and ripe with soft tannins and a pleasantly long finish. It is perfect for drinking on its own but also pairs well with various meat dishes. $15.00

2023 Domaine J. Boulon Morgon Cru Beaujolais, France – This is a delicious red made from 40-plus-year-old Gamay vines grown in granite soils on their estate. Deep, rich, and charismatic, it starts with violet notes before the ripe, hedonistic cassis and dark cherry take over. This is a complete wine with tannins and acidity just where you hope to find them. $22.00

2023 Majestic Esprit Bordeaux Supérieur, France – This blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon offers nice red cherry and plum fruit with hints of cocoa. It has a well-balanced palate. $14.00

2020 Ritual Red Rosso Toscana, Italy – Made from mostly Sangiovese and a splash of Alicante, this is a ripe, rich, classically rustic Tuscan Rosso. It offers plenty of dark plum and cherry fruit balanced by hints of spice and dried flowers that add complexity. $13

2022 Horgelus Blanc, Côte de Gascogne, France – This blend of Colombard and Sauvignon Blanc offers bright, inviting notes of zesty citrus and passion fruit flavors, followed by a refreshing, pithy dry finish. $12

2023 Line 39 Sauvignon Blanc, CA – This wine is fresh, zesty, with aromas of citrus peel, pineapple, and cantaloupe on the nose. The flavors on the palate are grapefruit segments, Orange blossom water, layered sedimentary rock, lime cream, and high acidity on the finish. Wine Enthusiast: 93 $10

2021 Line 39 Cabernet Sauvignon, CA – This excellent, value-priced Cabernet offers plenty of ripe, juicy cherry fruit character with a nice hint of vanilla on the polished finish. $11

2020 Guarda Rios Tinto, Alentejo, Portugal – This blend of Aragonez, Syrah, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouchet offers notes of ripe raspberry, blackberry, chocolate, and vanilla, followed by juicy acidity in the mouth with ripe, supple tannins and nuances of tobacco and garrigue on the palate. 2023 Moulin De Gassac Guilhem Rouge, Languedoc, France – A blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and 20% Carignan, this is a Rhone-style blend with deep red fruit flavors and a light spicy note from the Syrah, with a bit of a lift at the finish from the Carignan. A serious “bistro” red. $13

2023 Moulin De Gassac Guilhem Blanc, Languedoc, France – This mouthwatering blend of 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Colombard and 30% Rolle (Vermentino) offers inviting floral aromas and plenty of bright, zesty citrus and stone fruit flavors that linger nicely on the supple finish.  $13

2023 Lomas del Marques Tempranillo, Rioja, Spain – Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this tinto is appealing, approachable, and juicy in style with lifted red fruits and a hint of spice. The palate is bright with bramble, cherry fruit, and gently rounded tannins. It is nicely balanced with a long finish. $11

2024 Lomas del Marques Blanco, Rioja, Spain – Made from 100% Viura grapes, this blanco is approachable, appealing, and juicy in style with lifted citrus and orchard fruits. Nicely balanced with a bright, zesty finish. $11

2024 LaGiana Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy – This is a delicious Pinot Grigio that’s inviting with notes reminiscent of citrus fruits, green apple, floral scents especially of elderflower mingled with fresh herbs. Zesty Fresh. $12
