2022 Moulin De Gassac “Guilhem” Rouge, Languedoc, France – A blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and 20% Carignan, this is a Rhone-style blend with deep red fruit flavors and a light spicy note from the Syrah with a bit of a lift at the finish from the Carignan. A serious “bistro” red. $13

2017 L’Avenir Provenance Pinotage, South Africa – This medium-bodied wine exhibits a delicate balance between fruit and spiciness. The nose has attractive notes of cherries and mulberries, complemented by the sweet baking spice typical of a well-crafted Pinotage. $15
