2022 Cordant Pinot Noir “Hyperbole” Central Coast, CA – This ripe, robust Pinot Noir offers rich cherry and boysenberry fruit on the nose as well as vanilla, eucalyptus, subtle oak, and a hint of spice. The palate is rich, fruity, layered, and fantastic. It is in a wonderful place now with integrated tannins and a wonderful balance. 375 cases produced. $28.00

2022 Girasole Charlie’s Blend Red, Mendocino County, CA – This wine is opulent, with aromas of mulberry, huckleberry, orange vanilla cream, dried florals, and notes of tobacco on the nose. The flavors on the palate are blackberry compote, clove, and dark chocolate, with gripping, silky tannins to finish. Pair with your weeknight takeaway. Wine Enthusiast: 92 $17.00

2022 Pax Mahle Wines Syrah, North Coast, CA – This old-world style Syrah packs plenty of punch, which will make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. There’s a good bit of dark-berried Syrah character and a fair bit of tannic heft. Pair with rich roasted or grilled meats. $42.00

2022 Le Grand Valmal Cotes du Rhone Villages, France – Floral notes accent ripe mixed berries in this Cotes du Rhone Villages that is made from a heavy portion of old vine Syrah, along with Grenache and Mourvèdre. The Syrah dominates, resulting in a full-bodied wine with silky tannins. It has a slight pepperiness that adds dimension and complexity. This wine is produced by the third generation on this estate, and it is a fruit-driven wine…think “baby” Chateauneuf-du-Pape! $22.00

2021 Manzanos 111 Red Blend, Navarra, Spain – This blend of 85% Garnacha and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of Mission fig, black currant, and mocha wafting from the glass. Vibrant acidity and plush tannins play backup to black cherry, sage flavors that dissolve into a pomegranate-splashed finish. Wine Enthusiast: 93 $13

2023 Sacred Hill Chardonnay, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand – This wine offers aromas of ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, and hints of hazelnut. The palate offers juicy citrus flavors and a nutty complexity. Refined acidity gives length to the finish. $12
