2022 Le Grand Valmal Cotes du Rhone Villages, France – Floral notes accent ripe mixed berries in this Cotes du Rhone Villages that is made from a heavy portion of old vine Syrah, along with Grenache and Mourvèdre. The Syrah dominates, resulting in a full-bodied wine with silky tannins. It has a slight pepperiness that adds dimension and complexity.
